Got an invite to the reception party of renowned photographer Brad Elterman, who has shot such famous figures as Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan and many more. Free drinks and cool company plus a sweet converted warehouse space was a nice vibe. There was also a great performance by Tokyo Rock chica, ESIE. Biggups to MC Ayanee for the link!
In the summer I was fortunate to be contacted to appear in my second music video. This time it was with model Saki Sugawara. This is her first video as she tires to break into the music scene here in Japan. I couldn’t upload the pictures until the video was released, so here it is!
I appeared on Nihon Terebi for two seconds (literally) in a small acting role for a mini-documentary on world-famous Japanese dancehall queen, Junko. Was a good experience! You can watch the entire video on youtube here. (Japanese only). I also attached it below.
Checkout the picture from my previous post about the TV shoot, here.
I received copies today of two book with my published writing! J.K Rowling, Stephen King, Dan Brown… holla at me!! : D
My short story “Gaijin Girl” was published in the 15th edition of Yomimono , an annual literary journal published by author Suzanne Kamata. You can also checkout my interview with her, here.

Halloween last year was pretty sweet. This year had a typhoon threat lingering in the air, meaning less people were out. But yours truly still wore an outfit and headed out into the night!
I am so excited writing this! Simone Legno is one of my inspirations. I discovered him quite by accident only last year, and I felt very connected to a person at a very high level of what I was trying to. At the Nooka launch party during Tokyo Design Week, I had a chance to meet him, rap with him about life and design, and big him up! This was a truly amazing moment for me.
