Kingston Anime Nation 2011!   Leave a comment

Fans of Japanese animation (Anime) in Jamaica are just as rabid as fans elsewhere. I had the pleasure of going to the event and dressing in a Jinbei, a traditional Japanese summer outfit. With the help of my cousin I got some pretty cool pictures of the event!

I had the pleasure of filming not one but two Jamaican DJs spinning good music during the Top Shop/Topman London fashion week event they held a few months ago! This was shot at the massive Topshop building in Shinjuku, Tokyo by yours truly.

*Hello Kl!tty* and Die Antwoord (Ninja) in Tokyo!   2 comments

On long weekends in Tokyo, there are a million parties to attend. I checked out a party with special guests, Ninja, a.k.a Die Antwoord from South Africa. Also playing that night, my lovely friend from the duo, Hello Kl!tty. The night got so crazy I promised i would write a real blog about this. Hopefully coming soon. The night was too much fun for the world not to know : p I’ve also posted a video from youtube with some of Ninja’s music. Pretty cool stuff!

Hello Klitty did a wicked fab job playing music that got the crowd pumping. Good vibes, good people!

Ninja himself on the ones and twos!

This video really gave me the vibe of the group. Definitely check out their videos on you tube. Good times!

Biggups to my father!!   Leave a comment

I grew up in a household where I heard my father singing almost everyday. I was very happy to find a video of my father doing recent performances of two of his songs, “Faith can move Mountains” and “A brand new Haiti”. This is very moving for me, and lets me know you must always keep chasing your dream. His stage name is Jaguu Peke Yanguu, meaning “The One who walks alone”. Great Sunday night gift for me!

Saki Sugawara Video Shoot   Leave a comment

In the summer I was fortunate to be contacted to appear in my second music video. This time it was with model Saki Sugawara. This is her first video as she tires to break into the music scene here in Japan. I couldn’t upload the pictures until the video was released, so here it is!
