I had the fabulous opportunity to film an event at upscale bar Le Baron de Paris in Aoyama, Tokyo. It was a pretty cool event, sponsored by Moët & Chandon Rosé. Pictures by Alex Wuillaume. My video is under the pictures. You can see the full gallery at the Le Baron site here.
Followup video to “Sniff Sniff Tokyo” which was well received among the gaijin-folk in lovely old Tokyo. This time the power didn’t go out, and the party had good vibes! Biggups to Hello Kl!tty and other guest DJs who made it a rocking event. This is a regular event, held at Trump Room, in Shibuya. Video is below the flyer.
At the stylish SuperDeluxe bar and lounge in Roppongi, Pecha Kucha celebrated it’s 80th presentation night. Pretty cool presenations were shown and a lot of people were in attendance.
Many of you checked out my Sniff Sniff video a week or two ago, which surprisingly went “mini-viral” across Tokyo and led me to meet some really cool people. The event promoter held another party, called “Next Sniff Sniff” and here are a few pictures. A short video is coming soon, shot in a similar theme of black & white. Just like before, this party was held at Trump Room, in the exciting hot spot of Shibuya.
Hello Kl!tty killed it. They played an awesome set.
Tokyo food blogger Fashimi looking delectable as always.
Mr. G, we go waaay back!
All must kiss the moose head. Or is that a deer?
Didn’t realize I got this awesome shot of photographer Alex Wuillaume doing his thing at the event.
A lot of people have been saying this is a really cool spot. I passed through on a rainy Wednesday night and snapped a few pics. Will return on a weekend and see what the real deal really is. I liked the decor and the energy of the place.
It snowed recently here in sunny old Tokyo. It was my first time seeing snow in Japan, so I took a few pictures and idled around, particularly when I decided to eat some ice cream while it was snowing : p
Passed through Fashion Fuse at local hot spot Bar 57 in Roppongi. There was crazy press, loads of models and celebs. I didn’t snap many pics, but still, decent vibes.
On long weekends in Tokyo, there are a million parties to attend. I checked out a party with special guests, Ninja, a.k.a Die Antwoord from South Africa. Also playing that night, my lovely friend from the duo, Hello Kl!tty. The night got so crazy I promised i would write a real blog about this. Hopefully coming soon. The night was too much fun for the world not to know : p I’ve also posted a video from youtube with some of Ninja’s music. Pretty cool stuff!
Hello Klitty did a wicked fab job playing music that got the crowd pumping. Good vibes, good people!
Ninja himself on the ones and twos!
This video really gave me the vibe of the group. Definitely check out their videos on you tube. Good times!
This is a quick video of my first time playing “Futsal” a sort of watered down version of football, in Tokyo. This has to be the most interesting environment i’ve ever played soccer in, with high rise buildings around me, trains in the background and super super cold weather. Check it out!
